This book is a compilation of existence of intelligence and law machinery in India in Vedas, Samritis, Arthashastra and subsequent historical works with a view to dismantle the British belief that they have given the concept of CBI and policing to India, whereas it was very much in vogue and practice in India even before the advent of British and infact from the start of mankind.
