About the Book:
This book has been written in a very lucid, easily understandable manner, so
that even a layman can understand the grave seriousness of the various perils
pertaining to the Indian society. The book begins from the historical background,
covering crucial issues such as Negligence of Girl Child, Honour Killing, Illegal
Abortion, Violence, Dowry and have concluded it with the suggestion that not
only Laws must be strictly implemented, but the mindset of the society must
be changed towards the girl child. I hope the readers will be able to cope with
situations given in the book and we as a society, may one day finally, be able
to change for the better.
