About the Book:
The Banjaras of Odisha are believed to have migrated from Rajasthan to different places of the State through Madhya Pradesh and Bihar as evident from their own "Banjari" dialect and established in different parts of Western Odisha. This book is a super collection of different facts regarding their religion, ritual activities, life cycle rituals, different changing scenario along with their world view based on the case studies of Banjara of Koksara block of Kalahandi district of Odisha.

About the Author:
Geetanjali Panda has got her M.Phil degree in 2004 and cleared UGC NET in 2006. She is awarded with doctorate degree in 2015. She started her carrier as Research Assistant in Academy of Tribal Dialect and Culture (ATDC). She joined as Project co-coordinator in Lutheran World Service (LWSI). In 2014 she was teaching in Ranchi University. Then she joined as faculty member in DD College Keonjhar in the year 2016. Later in 2017, she joined in BJB (auto) College in the Dept. of Anthropology.
